Job Description:
Education Officers are responsible to conduct training
programs to keep pace with the advancement in technology, weapon systems,
electronics and computerization etc. They are also responsible to guide the
personnel in furthering their academic qualifications and run Air Force Schools
for the children of Air Force Personnel.

through Air Force Selection Board (AFSB).

Qualification:
Academics - M.A./
M.Sc. 50% and above.
Statistics/Computer
Science or MBA 50% and above
Age - 21 to 25 years
Note: Candidates with a combination of minimum two
subjects out of Physics, Maths, Statistics, English, Psychology or Defence
Studies at B.A./B. Sc. and Holding Post Graduate Degree in Business
Administration from a Institute
recognized by All India Council of Technical Education with 50% and
above marks can also apply.

Remuneration:
Starting salary is Rs. 8,250, which reaches Rs. 10,050
within 6/7 years.
Note: Short Service Commission for Women is open
since 1992. The Women are also inducted
as an Education Officer in the Air Force. All other qualifications and
eligibility conditions remain the same except; they must be unmarried. Length of Short Service Commission is upto 7
years and extendable upto 10 years.
