Logistics Officer
Job Description:
Logistics Officer is responsible for provisioning of
Aircraft spares, Mechanical Transport, Fuel, Armament and Explosives, flying
and other clothing items, ration and other items essential for day to day
running of the organization and sustaining its manpower.

(ii) Mode of Selection - Through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and getting
through Air Force Selection Board (AFSB).

Schedule - Advertised in all National Leading
Newspapers/Employment News twice a year in the months of January and July for
Logistic Officer.
(iv) Status Awarded - Logistics Officer
Qualification:
Academics - Bachelors
Degree 60% and above.
Masters Degree 50% and above.
Age - 20 to 23 years Graduates.
20 to 25 years Post Graduates.

Remuneration:
Starting salary is Rs. 8,250, which reaches Rs. 10,050
within 6/7 years.
Note: Short Service Commission for Women is open
since 1992. The Women are also inducted as Logistics Officer in the Air Force.
All other qualifications and eligibility conditions remain the same except;
they must be unmarried. Length of Short
Service Commission is upto 7 years and extendable upto 10 years.
