Job Description:
The Architects in this branch specialize in designing,
construction as well as repair of warships and submarines. The Architect in
Navy performs duties to include Draw Maps and Charts, Make scale drawings of
roads, airfields, buildings, and other military projects, Conduct land surveys
and compute survey results.

Qualification:
A)
Through National Defence Academy (NDA)
(i) Qualifications - 10+2 (Tech) - 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with
70% aggregate. Minimum 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th
Standard.
(ii) Age - 16½ to 19 years.
B)
Graduate Entry
(i) Academics - Degree in Naval Architecture/ Mechanical/
Aeronautical/ Civil/ Metallurgical Engineering
(ii) Age - 21 to 25 years.

Remuneration:
Starting Salary Rs. 8,250, which reaches Rs. 10,050
within 6/7 years of service. (excluding other allowances).
