Job Description:
If you enjoy the challenge of new frontiers, meet the
medical standards and have an exceptional record, this is the specialization
for you. These new hi-tech war machines have awesome firepower, state-of-the
art weapon control systems, computer controlled machinery and a high standard
of habitability. One major responsibility of the submarines in peacetime is to
train for war as effectively as possible in the knowledge that this will
contribute to its prevention. The rigorous training for this sub-branch is
conducted at Visakhapatnam.

Qualification:
A)
Cadet Entry (NDA)
(i) Qualifications - 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics.
(ii) Age - 16½ to 19 years.
B)
Graduate Entry
(i) Qualifications - B.Sc. (Physics and Mathematics) or B.E.
(ii) Age - 19 to 22 years.
C)
NCC Special Entry
(i) Qualifications - B.SC. (Physics and Mathematics) or B.E. with
Naval Wing Senior Division NCC ‘C’ Certificate.
(ii) Age - 19 to 24 years.

Remuneration:
Starting Salary Rs. 8,250, which reaches Rs. 10,050 within
6/7 years of service. (excluding other allowances).
