Description:
Ayurveda is
based on the concept life forces or doshas. There are three primary life
forces called the Tridosha (Vata, Pitta and Kapha).
Ayurvedacharya checks the pulse, and finds out the position of Tridosha. Once
he diagnoses the imbalances in the doshas, he advices therapies and medicines
accordingly.

opportunities are available to qualified Ayurvedacharya of the various
Traditional Systems of medicine in Government Hospitals where such departments
have been set up or in relevant charitable clinics, hospitals or dispensaries.
They can also set up their private practice; Jobs are also available in
teaching and research institutions. Manufacturers of Ayurvedic medicines also
require their services.
Remuneration:
Starting salary
is Rs. 8,000 per month (excluding other allowances)
